Ceramic artist Katie Bunnell is going to create a new collection of 50 plates which highlights and celebrates the unrecognised achievements of significant woman of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Having seen the list of amazing women who have been proposed, I feel honoured to be included amongst so many distinguished women .

Those put forward , will appear on the Art Centre Penryn website, the final 50 selected by an advisory group will form the basis of Katies new body of work , which in turn will become a part of the centres collection.

Special thanks to Paul & Chrissy, and those kind enough to nominate or endorse me for this project …. and whatever the outcome , I wish Katie, and all those involved in making this immense project ‘real’, every success .
