Today like so many of us across the country and around the world , I offer my deepest condolences to the Royal Family on the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II .

Her Majesty’s service and dedication to her people, country and the Commonwealth never faltered during my lifetime. With faith and great wisdom, she guided our country through enormous changes for seven decades, steadfastly keeping to the promise she made so many years ago . A Queen who’s strength of purpose, dignity and life of service is inspirational.

A day of sorrow and wonder , as I joined with so many across the country and from around the world, to pay my final respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

It has been a time to remember and reflect on a life of service and dedication, with thousands mourning Her Majesty’s passing before she was laid to rest in St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle. To witness the centuries old grandeur and ceremony, and peoples love and devotion has been a spectacle I shall remember for a very long time, along with the memory of our devoted Queen.
