Commissions – Vyvyan Coach House

This painting hangs in Vyvyan Coach House, Mawgan. It’s subject matter celebrates life in a small Cornish village.

The colourful narrative places Mawgan Church, its daffodil festival and an attentive mother with her child at the core of the community.

Zoe said ‘I was in the audience at a Fete when local school children performed songs. I wanted to include some of those children, to mark this transitory time in their lives. The children were so full of hope and honest sincerity. They had grown up in the village, been a part of a small community, and in due course, they will play their part in the cycle of life and renewal’.
