The Churches of St Martin, Mawgan in Meneage , St Anthony , and Manaccan are throwing open their doors and inviting you in.

St Martin Parish Church on the Lizard peninsular Cornwall will be Open between 10 – 2. Welcoming visitors, offering a bit of history , local culture, a prayer and a cup of tea .

Inside the Church you will find an open prayer board with three of my little Ex Votive paintings on display (from the series One Hundred Painted Vows ), selected because they represent local people . Visitors and Pilgrims are invited to leave and pin and leave their own thoughts and prayers in this ancient and sacred church, either written or drawn, as collectively we express a shared humanity in this troubled world.

The Crucifixion painting, made for Truro Cathedral’s All Saints Altar will decorate St Martin Church Altar at this time.

Around this church you can discover a delightful display of wild flowers, and find a little footpath down to the nearby stream , if you are in need of a bit of tranquillity and healing this Easter.
