Zoe said ‘It was following a conversation with The Revd Canon Nigel Marns, Rector at All Saints Church, that my ideas began to clarify, after he told me the story of Archangel St Michael and the fishermen, I knew then where my work would begin. These paintings are all about stories, life journeys and experiences through pilgrimage’ . The painting, because of its sizes was made in three parts. It took over two years to complete and features one large central image of Archangel St Michael with fishermen in Mounts Bay, and twelve small images at the base which explore other bible stories.
